Anthurium, also called Flamingo Flower, is easy to grow houseplant. Its blooms will last for months and they are repeat-bloomers as well when grown in bright light. Hundreds of species and hybrids of Anthurium include both flowering and foliage plants. They bring tropical flare to the indoors. The blossoming types produce a floral spike (spadix) and a brilliantly colored leaflike bract (spathe).
Medium to bright light; avoid afternoon direct sunlight. Away from drafts.
Keep evenly moist, mist often, avoid waterlogging, water less in winter; fertilize every two weeks in growth period. Clean the leaves with a damp paper towel or sponge, gently remove spent flowers.
