Hibiscus is an excellent specimen plant. It bears the largest blooms that can be produced by an indoor plant. Its beautiful papery flowers last for only a day or two, but with proper care plants often bloom intermittently from late spring to late fall. It grows as evergreen shrub; broad and bushy up to about 2 m (6.5 feet) tall.
Bright including direct sunlight
Keep compost moist at all times, avoid waterlogging; mist leaves often when hot; remove faded blooms; cut back leggy specimens by one-half in spring.
