Crown of Thorns (Euphorbia milii) is a very interesting easy to grow succulent plant, that thrives on neglect and blooms throughout the year. Its name is associated with the Crown of Thorns worn by Jesus. This plant has sharp thorns that grow on strong fleshy stems.
Bright light with some direct sun. Avoid hot afternoon sunlight.
In spring and summer, water well and then allow the top half of the soil to dry out before watering again. Reduce watering in fall and winter, when the plant is not producing new leaves and flowers, but never let the soil dry out completely. You can cut back and shape the plant after blooming.
Shape, color and size of plants may vary slightly.
